Hallmark is required

Hallmarked jewellery has the logo of the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). Apart from this, it is also stated how many carats of gold the jewellery or jewellery piece is. Jewellery is usually made of 18 to 22 carat gold. With this, jewellers will no longer be able to cheat customers easily.
