Women are better illiterate than educated!
After reading the first sentence above, you might have said 2 words badly or your facial expressions might have gone wrong. I am also a woman like you and it is natural for me to get angry if someone says something like this to me. But my teacher always told me that “An educated person never gets angry, he thinks calmly and takes decisions.”
But today’s women, whether they are older or younger, after living with them, it seems that is this really the freedom of a woman? Should it be like this? And if the answer is yes, then I think it is better to have a patriarchal country than this.. Where women preserve their ideals. They do not forget their morals and values. (Where women went out to the bar, they would bring their values, ideals, and morals with them. They would be aware of their own limits.)
It is said that times have changed with time, yesterday’s women were not educated, but today’s women are educated, yesterday’s women took care of the house, today’s women take care of business, do jobs. But I think that times have changed, with time the titles of many things have changed, the ideas of many men have also changed, but women are still there. Maybe they have moved a step forward, but not more than that.
If we look back 75/50 from today, then women used to do housework all day, that’s why those people were called House Wives. But if we look carefully, those people also used to go to the fields, work there, pack pulses, do labor, and sell whatever pavli or money they brought back to the house. But those women never got the title of Working women. And no matter how much a man earned, he would give the money to the woman of the house. Whether it was a mother or a wife.
Now, if we go a little further than 75/50 years ago, that is, even in the period 30/35/40 years ago, women used to do household work. But along with household work, they started doing small and big jobs like sewing, cooking food on occasions, weaving papads, or embroidery work at home. And they started earning money in hundreds or thousands. Those women came to be called house wives, who do small and big jobs with their house wives, or do such side jobs whenever they get time. And those women also used to spend all the money on the side expenses of their children at home. And the men of those days would earn money and give it to the woman of the house.
Now, if we go a little further to 30/35/40, that is, to the period 12/15 years or 8/10 years ago. So during this period, women started studying more, progressing, dreaming, knowing what their rights were and fighting for it. They started working. And these women also did housework to a lesser extent. And that is why these women were renamed from Housewife and given the name Working women. For which women should be very proud. But here the difference is seen that if women work under compulsion, due to poverty, due to being weak in the home environment, then they help the home financially. But if women earn in the name of independence from their hobbies, their contribution to the home has been very less. And from here the issue of women’s money and men’s money begins.
Now let’s talk about the last 4/5 years till today, today’s women understand that housework is for illiterate women. Doing housework seems like narrow thinking. Why do we do housework, such questions arise. Sentences like we were not born to do housework are said. Such things are said about not doing housework even after being educated. Educated women do not do housework and do not even want to do it. They run away from financial responsibilities by saying that it is my money and I will not give it. And that is why these women were called Modern working women. And here the woman keeps her money with herself and the man, seeing this behavior of the woman, does not give his earned money to the woman.
But do women really use the freedom that they have got, for which many women are still fighting today, properly? Are they enjoying it?
This question is worth thinking about..
In my opinion, working does not only mean earning money. If it were only that, then how many ages have men been earning money. Working means a way to keep yourself busy along with earning money. Due to which you do not get lost in the churning of thoughts. Try to understand your responsibility. You don’t want to do housework, that’s your choice, but the understanding of not abusing the freedom you have is called working on yourself and for yourself.
You wear branded clothes, you can speak in English, you can buy your favorite things, or you can earn some money, that doesn’t make you educated. Education is when you can present your thoughts peacefully even among ten people, when you see injustice being done to someone, you have the courage to speak up for that person in your heart, by not forgetting your values, your limits even after going to any corner of the world, by not breaking your ideals, rules, boundaries for anyone. And if women also start behaving like men, that there should be only a woman-dominated country, then what will be the difference between men and women?
The term “uneducated” is used because many educated women are right but are going on the wrong path. They don’t understand the difference between right and wrong. And even though an uneducated woman could not fight for herself, she lived under the pressure of men. Still, she lived with a sense of self-respect. Because of her fear, because of her culture, because of her limitations, she did not allow herself to go astray. While today’s educated woman, having left all the shackles, she ascended to the sky
If you go to fly, you get lost alone. You cannot decide which path is best for you. An illiterate woman earns less but keeps her ideals alive, puts her family before herself, while an educated woman earns more but often cannot maintain her ideals.
An educated woman wants freedom and every woman should get it, but be such an example of that freedom that even if the whole world cannot give that example, the people around you, your society can give your example to other women to study or move forward in life.
