The in-laws started pressuring the bride to bring a dowry of Rs. 12 million from her father. The bride expressed her dissatisfaction to her husband but he ignored her concerns.
The bride was informed by her in-laws that they would all be going to America. However, the bride was not ready to leave India and did not want to leave her parents behind. She was asked to contribute a small amount to fulfill their plan, which meant that everyone would have to go directly to America instead of staying in India. Despite the bride’s constant pleas to her in-laws, the dowry amount was not settled. Eventually, her in-laws started revealing her true intentions and requested the bride to maintain physical distance from her husband. Due to this situation, the bride remained unaware of what was going on between them. Gradually, the bride’s contact with her husband decreased and her in-laws provided her with fewer essentials.
Obligation to fast was imposed on her
According to the information received, the bride’s in-laws invited a spiritual medium to their house, after which the bride was instructed to fast. Furthermore, she was advised to keep a distance from her husband. It is worth mentioning that Parinita had decided to start working to earn money. However, her husband remained away, busy with constant demands to go to America. In this context, Parinita’s in-laws showed signs that if they could not go to America, Parinita should maintain her love for her husband.

Parinita was told by her in-laws that she should maintain her love for her husband. Her in-laws confessed that she could not make financial arrangements to go to America and could not even arrange the full dowry amount of twelve million rupees.
