An accident occurred during a kabaddi match. A 20-year-old student died while playing kabaddi in Mumbai’s Malad area on Thursday. The spectators there immediately informed the police, after which the young man was taken to a nearby hospital and declared dead there. According to the police, “The deceased has been identified as Kirtiraj Mallan, who was playing in a kabaddi match organized by a college in Malad. While playing, he had exceeded the time limit of touching a player of his rival team. While returning to his team, he suddenly fell down.
The dead body was taken to Shatabdi Hospital for postmortem. After that, a case was registered under Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). Further investigation is being conducted based on the video made by other students during the match. Kirtiraj Mallan was a resident of Santosh Nagar in Mumbai and was a first year B.Com student at Vivek College, Goregaon.
