The state government has decided to provide assistance to the trade, commerce and economic activity units in the affected areas of the state due to heavy rains in Bharuch, Narmada and Vadodara districts from September 16 to 18. In a cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, the state government decided to provide this assistance by taking a liberal attitude towards small and medium traders. The assistance has been announced today. Special attention has been paid to small and medium traders in the advertisement.

40 villages of Bharuch, two cities will get the benefit of the package

31 villages of Vadodara, 32 villages of Narmada will benefit

The affected will have to apply by October 31

Lorry and ranger owners will be given Rs 5,000 assistance

Small cabin-storage owners will be given Rs 20,000 assistance

Large cabin owners will be given Rs 40,000 assistance

Small and medium-sized shop owners will be given Rs 85,000 assistance

Large shop owners will be given Rs 20 lakh loan assistance at 7%

A maximum of Rs 5 lakh will be given at 7%

Interest will be waived for 3 years on loan assistance of Rs 20 lakh
