When I hear the word selfish, don’t think that I am asking you to be selfish about money or property, but rather that I am asking you to be selfish for yourself, for your health. Men living in the house say that they go to earn money, so they don’t have time for themselves. And women living in the house say that they do household chores, so they don’t have time for themselves. Young people say that they don’t have time for themselves because they use social media…

But have you ever thought that the 24 hours that have been going on for centuries, for ages, are still the same 24 hours today? But what is the reason why we do not have time for ourselves? Let me tell you.. The reason is that we do not know whom to give our time to and how much. And because of that, we have complained in the past that our entire life has been wasted for others and no one has valued us.. That is why I said that we should be a little selfish and make ourselves feel a little better. By giving ourselves some time of the day, we can adopt some good and very cheap habits that are very expensive in life.
1 – Show Gratitude – Tell the truth.. You remember God in bad times but how often do you remember Him in good times? How many times do you remember Him in a day? Can’t you give 1 minute to God as soon as the day starts and before the day ends? Out of 24 hours, you have to pray only 2 minutes every day. You have to express gratitude for the life you have got, for being able to see a new day.. You may not believe me but I am telling you the truth, your life will change without you even knowing it. By expressing gratitude, your ego disappears and a sense of selflessness is born within you.
2 – Sit alone – A person is most afraid of sitting with himself. He can sit with people all day long, in front of the phone, TV, but he does not like sitting by himself, even for 5 minutes. The mind starts getting confused.. But in reality, every person should sit with himself for at least 5 minutes. Should talk to himself. This will make you see your self-reflection. You will be able to know your thoughts better. And the saying that no one understands me will stop forever.
3 – Do something with art – that is, do something you like, like playing garba, drawing, writing, reading, watering a tree.. Do something that you like, even if it doesn’t get you money, but it gives you double happiness. Even if you can’t do it every day, you can do it once a week, right? It’s not that difficult and by doing this, you will be more motivated to do your daily life tasks. You will become happy from within. That is why art is very important in life. And in every human being, there is some art hidden, you just have to find it if you have time.
4 – Go for a walk – I keep saying in my videos that to keep the mind and body healthy, everyone should walk for at least 45 minutes a day without anyone’s company, i.e., without any person, phone, or songs, enjoying their own company. You should connect with your own thoughts. This habit reduces your anxiety and helps in solving any confusion.
5 – Go to the temple – In the past, there was a separate room for temples in the house, but now, as the house grows bigger, the temples are getting smaller, and that is why the energy received from the temple in the house has also reduced. You should go to any temple around your home or once every 2/4 days. You should connect with Divine Energy / Supreme Energy, which keeps you connected spiritually. Whether you take, no matter how much Negative Energy you have inside you, when you leave at twelve, a lot of positive energy has been transferred inside you in exchange.
6 – Have a meal with your family – In today’s fast-paced world, even family members do not have time for their families. In such a situation, call it our house rule or our habit, it should be that I will have one meal a day with the family. It is said that when the family sits together and eats, the atmosphere is filled with laughter and jokes, where people help each other by discussing their daily routine. And due to this, a person stays away from diseases like depression and anxiety. Small habits are better than big diseases in life.
7 – Write a diary – With the habit of writing a diary, the anger in your mind and heart will be expressed through writing, and you will not even know it. The fatigue of daily life will become a good occasion in your life. You will start to know yourself better. It may seem a little difficult in the beginning but after a few days you will start enjoying it. Your diary will become your best friend.
These were the 7 habits that you have to add to your life and these habits will help you become a better and healthier person than you are today. Not only physically but also mentally. Even if you do not adopt 7 of these 7 habits, but if you adopt even 3/4, then both of you and I will definitely be in trouble.. So, will you be a little selfish, for yourself?
