The Chief Judicial Court has sent the main accused in the Morbi bridge accident, Jaysukh Patel, to jail after his remand ends.
The main accused in the Morbi bridge accident, Jaysukh Patel, was produced in the Chief Judicial Magistrate Court, where the police did not seek further remand and the police have not yet given any information about the information that came during the seven-day remand. The most important thing is that Jaysukh Patel’s name was not written in the initial FIR by the police. Then on December 31, Jaysukh Patel surrendered in the Morbi court and after that the police sought a fourteen-day remand. Regarding which the Morbi court approved a remand till February 8.
Government prosecutor S.K. Vora said that action can also be taken against Jaysukh Patel’s people.
What is the whole matter?
The maintenance and repair of the Jhulta Bridge in Morbi city was done by the Oreva Group, which is owned by Jaysukh Patel. After the repair of this bridge by Jaysukh Patel, it was opened but no permission was taken and due to the negligence of the administration and indiscriminate sale of tickets, the bridge collapsed on October 30, 2022, in which 135 people lost their lives. This incident caused an outcry across the country, but at that time only the working class and lower-level employees present at the spot were arrested, but now finally action is being taken against the big heads.
But it remains to be seen whether this action will really reach its conclusion?
