A rat was crawling on the body of a man wrapped in a blanket on the hospital floor. Sometimes the rat would sit on the person’s feet and sometimes it would walk on his body and come close to his face. There has been an uproar ever since such a video of Malda Medical College and Hospital went viral. The patient’s relatives were seen raising their voices against the hospital administration. The hospital superintendent assured to investigate the matter. Malda Medical Superintendent Puranjay Saha did not completely rule out the presence of rats in the hospital premises. However, he assured that he would find out if rats were roaming around on patients inside the hospital. However, the hospital superintendent admitted that work on the pest control initiative should start after the budget collection.

At this time, this video is being discussed vigorously everywhere. Almost everyone has lost their senses after seeing the video of rats crawling on the hospital floor. In such a situation, some people fear that patients will get sicker instead of getting better under the rule of rats.

Three days ago, this man was admitted to the hospital by his son. When the son went to see his father in the hospital, tears welled up in his eyes. The boy said, “I admitted him three days ago. No bed was found, no doctor saw him. Rats are crawling on the body. This can spread the disease. The hospital authorities should investigate it.”
